The name of your blog certainly lives up to the title — your photos are certainly vivid (I used to be a wedding photographer — back in the days when the earth was still cooling and dinosaurs roamed the earth).

Heather, thanks for the “likes”. Your photography is beautiful and dynamic…a quick and insightful lens. We are just blogging along on our adventure, now day 120! We have lodged our Tramper in an RV park on a little hill near Monarch, CO. We hope to ski till we’ve had enough (feel free to join us), then start asking, “where should we go tomorrow?” Loosely we hope to amble down to Moab, Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon and roll around some more till the money runs out before we have to head East and get jobs again. What a blessing its been already. We may be buying a newer camera, ours are point and shoot digitals from 10 years ago; I imagine progress has been made, eh?

Very nice work! Love the cyclocross and Dirt Derby photos! I’m guessing cold press coffee is much better in 90-degree weather than it is in the -22F we’re having here in Winnipeg.

Thank you for ‘liking’ my recent golf blog post. I can’t decide whether I’m flattered or embarrassed that someone of your talent looked at the pictures I took while playing golf.
At the start of each game I have a vision of the shots I want. But I’m also in the game, and after my first three putt about all I can remember is to put the sun behind me and something pretty behind them.
However, I have studied the photographs here and tried to determine what makes each so interesting. Just maybe that exercise will improve the pictures I take.
