What a great image! I love the softening and the colour contrast between the two sides of the river. I love images like this where I can wander around and keep seeing new things. Cheers, K.
🙂 Well, it is a great image and credit where credit is due. I’ve just had another look and I’ve seen that several conifers on the waterfront have all been pruned to look the same. Living in the New Forest the idea of pruning trees to look the same gives me a smile. How long would that take! 🙂 We can take many things from one image and there are many narratives in this one of yours. Fab stuff Heather.
I love the vibrant blue water – see the gradient effect? Fashionistas may try to copy the bright colour to their wardrobe, but natural water colour is impossible to best. Only capturable in photography! 😀 Good call on that. What a beautiful place to own a residence – or even to just visit.

Well worth the short hike up! I don’t think you can take a bad photo up there.
